Management of outsourcing projects and companies
Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski
The course consists of 2 parts and lasts one academic year. Each part lasts for one semester with a 2-hour virtual session per week. The first part discusses outsourcing/offshoring from the client firm’s perspective, while the second part applies the supplier’s point of view. The course is part of Master’s program Outsourcing projects and companies at Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. It is also available for enrolment as a post-graduation course at the same university.
Content:
- Basics of strategic management, operations management and project management in outsourcing and offshoring
- Global and regional trends in outsourcing and offshoring
- Theories applied in the field
- Case studies created from real business situations
- Best practices from the business and lessons learnt from my own experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree
- Experience in outsourcing/offshoring
- Bulgarian and English language skills
Objectives:
- Help the students to successfully perform a management role in outsourcing and offshoring by obtaining the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge as well as by developing the required approach and competencies
Certification/diploma obtained:
- Students in Master’s program Outsourcing projects and companies obtain a Diploma for a Master’s degree upon successful completion of the program
- Students in the post-graduation course obtain a Certificate of Completion by Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski upon successful completion of the course
